Computer Servicing Specials By Brandon Wayne Avery

Many computers have unneeded information, files or programs that are not being used, taking up space and memory. When files are downloaded to your computer sometimes those files are duplicated to other locations. Viruses or infections attach themselves to files or locations on your computer causing serious problems. These are some of the reasons that slow down the performance of a computer and I will be explaining to you three highly effective ways to speed your computer back up. In today's tech world it's very important to know the basics and many people are failing to recognize them. Buying new computer's sometimes can do with the fact that people believe their computer has slowed down and there's nothing else they can do. Sometimes there's not need to spend more than you have to.
Running disk defragmenter at least once a month should be done to free up space from duplicated files. Disk defragmenter is a free tool that comes basic with every computer. Depending on your computer you should be able to find the disk defragmenter by clicking on your start menu on your desktop, then selecting "All Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools" and finally the defragmenter. Once you finish defragmenting run Disk Cleanup, another great tool that every computer owner should use. You'd be surprised how many programs you have installed on your computer that you are not using.
Disk cleanup will clear your disk of unnecessary files that are not doing anything for you since you're probably not making any use of them. The third but, probably the most important way to keep your computer sped up is to obtain a copy of Anti-virus software such as AVG, Norton, or MacAfee. There is a free version of AVG and trial versions for Norton and MacAfee. Once you have the software installed make sure all updates are installed and then run a full system scan. The antivirus software will let you know of any threats and the importance of those threats. You can then delete them so they will not interfere with your computer's performance.
My question to you is: Do you currently have Virus Removal Software located on your computer? If you answered yes then you need to open that software and make sure that you run an update to ensure you are up-to-date on the new viruses that have been detected. If not, you can get a free version of AVG Virus Removal. Norton and McAFee provide you with the option of running a trial version of their software and then purchasing it later on when the trial expires. Norton and McAFee both provide you with great on call support service so I highly encourage investing in one of them. After running a virus scan you should notice that it has been detected (assuming you have a virus) and you will be able to remove it easily by following the on-screen instructions or it may get rid of it for you.
