PC Upgrade Excitement

There comes a time in everyone life when you must upgrade your computer. Your PC is running at about five years old. The fans are starting to sound like turbine engines. The hard drive is clicking like it's about to explode. The case looks like it was made out of a 1960's coke can. Speaking of coke, you've probably spilled a drink or two on the top of that case, so it's getting a little sticky. The point is, everyone has to upgrade at some point. Knowing when the right time to upgrade is pretty easy. That is because there is never a wrong time to upgrade. Whether you're looking upgrade to simply get into the newest technology, or your PC is pretty much a paper weight, there is always a reason to upgrade.
After talking with friends, family, coworkers, and reading reviews, you've come to the decision on what new computer components you need. After that you browse Newegg or Amazon and start adding items to your cart. Isn't this fun? You get the green light from your significant other, always key in this situation, check your cart, and buy you're PC parts.
Now it's time to wait in anticipation. Not a day goes by that you don't think about every item chosen. It's easy to start thinking about each and every component. How will the processor perform? Will it be easy to overclock? Will your video card be able to play all your future game? Are you going to end up liking your case? Is the power supply powerful enough? You can never have too much power. How is that new monitor going to look on your desk? Is that new solid state hard drive as good as they say it is?
Speaking of hard drives, be sure you have a working 1tb portable hard drive on hand when you start building. If you have any data from your old computer, you'll need a drive that you can save data on. Then when your new PC is up and running, plug the drive into a USB port and transfer your files over to your new SSD
PC upgrades are fun and they don't have to be difficult. It's extremely exciting to see those parts show up at the door and to start plugging away at putting it together. I still remember my first time upgrading my PC, and it sure was fun!
